	~~In practice~~, you ~~can usually start~~ with ~~a DCoL on most chars, or a basic sword:~~		The only other consideration is that for magic casters, you might just wanna go with something that is high mana and who cares about weapon type because you won't really be doing much damage with physical attacks anyhow. Dragon Claw of Legend is the highest mana weapon that's easy to get. Also, a staff of chiseled obsidian is good for casters even if it doesn't match their best proficiency. For example, Mages and Nephandi's might wanna go with one of those just for the mana.
