- Tempus himself doesn't technically exist in the game.
- There is a 'Likeness of Tempus' in Northern Plains that's basssiccaaalllllyyy him, but not really.
- He will cast sanctuary on you if you visit at 'loved' favor.
- For Barbs, there's a shrine inside the village (northernmost room) that functions as a Naos.
Tempuran Slash
This skill is an attack that requires you to be wielding a long sword type weapon. Note that this means Barbs who want to T-Slash cannot simultaneously Rend.
- This skill is acquired via a quest.
- Kickoff in The Wilds, Barbarian Village section, at Delmak
- Requires killing the Basilisk in the Wilds and handing the gem to Delmak.
Dyr's Hot Take
Seems like Tempus is now just used to make Tempuran Slash Warriors. I'm not sure why Warriors are preferred for this over Barbs, but perhaps because Smash sucks so this gives them a bump, whereas Barbs rend is fine on its own.
Anyhow, in my experience Tempuran Slash warriors were far more popular several years ago, in that 2014-2020 era, and I haven't seen any in action on any runs since then. Now that we have Prestige options for Warriors, as well as the Smash Arms making Smash better, it seems Tempuran Slash has lost popularity among the player base.
Personally, I never even bothered with it, cuz I'm fat and lazy.
