Rend is a physical attack skill. You must not be wearing weapons.
- As such, barbs will fight bare-handed most of the time, which means you don't get the additional stats/affects of weapons, but which does mean that you don't have to worry about mobs who are immune to the magic/non-magic damage of weapons, or being disarmed.
- It's damage is just based on Con and is capped by your max con (22). It does not scale beyond max con the same way damage reduction does.
I don't know what type of damage rend does, like non-magic maybe, but it may no-type (similar to gash). I don't believe there are any RIS that impact rend.
